PARENTING AN ADOPTED CHILD
Parents have to give their child the appropriate information they need to know about their adoption as early as possible . Your child will have a strong sense of identity and understanding about who they are from a young age. And it won’t be a surprise to the child when they get older.
The thing with adopted children is that they need to feel secure and loved just a bit more than other children. If they see any failure in your love towards them, they can take it and run with the idea ‘You don’t love me because I’m adopted’ or ‘I hate you and you’re not even my real mother’ … But the strategy is just to respond with love.
